About
“All things are so very uncertain, and that’s exactly what makes me feel reassured.”
Too-ticky (Moomin)
No matter how hard we try to stay on life’s paths, things happen. Mists roll in. Storms. An interesting grove off the way we just have to check out. Bears. Sometimes we just don’t realize how far we’ve wandered.
Sometimes it takes getting really lost to truly find yourself.
Hello! I’m Rini (they/she)!
I am a late 30s agender nonbinary person. I’ve got two “senior” cats, sisters Tuija and Kaija.
Other labels you could throw on me:
Quaker. Cat Mom. Community Manager. Anthropologist. Writer. Content Creator. Endo Survivor. Witch. Crafter. Cook. Depressed. Anxious. Sister/Sibling. Daughter/Child. Aunt. Tired.
I’ve worked a lot of jobs, been able to learn a lot of skills, and got to have a lot of experiences. I was a radio host & producer, a neurobiology lab manager, the director of a design school, toured with a circus punk-rock marching band as their merchandise manager, the COO of a streamer education site, a public archaeologist, museum curator, and a community manager and moderator. Each has been a stepping stone, a part of the journey to bring me to where I am now. There’s more adventure out there, and I look forward to finding it.
